Spring Game

It was a very windy, but very fun day on Saturday up at Rice-Eccles for the spring football game. The kids seemed to enjoy the balloons as much as anything and the Utes won so we were all happy!

Yummy Burgers!

So I got home from work a little bit later than usual yesterday, so Amy and the kids had already eaten dinner. But they had saved for me a couple of burgers and homemade fries with fry sauce-left out on the table for me to enjoy.

As I got ready to take a nice big bite out of the juicy burger I could feel the four of them watching me, which was a little strange. Well, as soon as I took a bite and tasted cookie and brownie they all burst out laughing, and the kids all yelled "April Fools!" It was quite the joke-I mean look how real those burgers and fries look!

Happy Easter!!

Easter is so much fun, especially with our kids who get so excited! Deric, Nat and Kate had so much fun decorating eggs and going on Easter Egg Hunts and wearing new Easter clothes! We have enough candy to last until next Easter, which is not good for me (I've already eaten an entire bag of chocolate peanut butter eggs-I just can't stop myself!) Colby teases me about really getting into the spirit of playing Easter Bunny, but he gets as excited as the kids to see what is in his Easter basket

We Love the Madness!

Ok, maybe I love the madness and make the rest of the family pay attention. For family night we of course all picked our brackets. I have the Bruins winning it all, Amy likes Wisconsin, D is a big Longhorn fan, and Natalie is pulling for Memphis.

Happy Birthday Babe!

It has been so fun to celebrate your birthday with you over the years, I thought you might like these pictures from memory lane! I certainly won't embarrass you by revealing your age in such a public place, but I will embarrass you by telling you how hot and sexy I think you are! I love you!
I have to add a PS to this: After we all sang happy birthday and had some cake, Natalie said she didn't want mom to turn 30. When I asked why, she said she didn't want her to be old like me! And she refused to believe that I'm only a year older than her mom. Needless to say, this little conversation made Amy feel very good!
